<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of a power generating condition transmission system while preventing the increase of labors in manufacturing a circuit, increase of consumption of a battery, and malfunction of an external control unit. SOLUTION: The terminal voltage of a field winding 21 is not transmitted to an external control unit(ECU) as the power generating condition signal by short-circuiting a connection terminal (F terminal) of the field winding 21 of a generator 2 for a vehicle to a switching transistor 35 of a regulator 3 with an external transmission terminal (FR terminal) of the regulator 3, but the output voltage (internal control signal) of an internal control signal generating means (comparator) 34 is transmitted to the ECU 5 as the power generating condition signal from the external transmission terminal (FR terminal). The problems such as the excessive flow of the field current in the field winding 21 by the line-to-ground fault of a transmission line 50 and the effect of the counter-electromotive force of the field winding 21 on the ECU 5 can be solved.</p> |
