Provided is a fuel cell system that has a structure enabling an electric connection to an adaptor connection terminal of electronic equipment, and thus has good compatibility with an adaptor to electronic equipment. The fuel cell system(100) is installed in the outside of electronic equipment(90) and provides electric energy to the electronic equipment(90). The fuel cell system(100) comprises: a fuel cell unit that generates the electric energy by a reaction of fuel and oxidizing gas; and a connector(60) that is electrically connected to the fuel cell unit and is substantially connected with an adaptor connection terminal(91) of the electronic equipment(90).
