An internal combustion engine (ICE) (1) starts up if compression has dropped and initial breakaway torque/starting torque is consequently reduced. This start-up leads to brisk ICE engine speed increase. The ICE's follow-on start is produced after rapid increase in compression to an optimum-start value with help from increased rotational energy in the ICE's rotating parts. An independent claim is also included for a device for increasing performance output in internal combustion engine traction-mechanism-driven start-stop cranking/starting motors for driving cars with start-stop automatic transmission.
|
