<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate frequency without connecting a high stability reference signal generator directly with the base station equipment of a mobile communication system. <P>SOLUTION: A specific mobile terminal 2 is specified previously by a maintenance monitor control terminal 5 and its identification information is registered in base station equipment 3. The registered mobile terminal 2 is connected with a high stability reference signal generator 1 and operated by its reference signal. When a call is originated by that mobile terminal 2, the base station equipment 3 determines that this mobile terminal is a registered mobile terminal, extracts a clock signal from its uplink signal and regulates the frequency of an internal reference signal generator based on the extracted clock signal. Consequently, frequency can be regulated even if a high stability reference signal generator is not connected directly with the base station equipment 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
