<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment with beautiful appearance in which enough display area of a liquid crystal display panel 8 is assured. <P>SOLUTION: A watch 100 as the electronic equipment includes, in a watch case 2, the liquid crystal panel 8 and a solar battery 9 which generates electricity by receiving an infra-red light and is placed at a side opposite from an external light incidence side and farther therefrom than the liquid crystal display panel 8. A polarizing member which is provided on the side opposite from the external light incidence side, of two polarizing members of the liquid crystal display panel 8 is made as a reflection type polarizing film 84 which reflects all wave lengths of a visible light region and which transmits the infra-red light for operating the solar battery 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
