Two-stage screw-type compressor comprises a non-return valve (10) arranged between a booster (1) and a high pressure compressor (2) in the flow direction in front of an intermediate pressure connection. A controllable valve is arranged in the oil feed line to the booster and is opened during operation of the compressor and closed when the compressor is switched off.
