FIELD: building, particularly sectional false floors and height-adjustable supports thereof. ^ SUBSTANCE: adjustable support comprises upper support plate made as a single square member with rounded corners. The upper support plate is provided with depression shaped as one-sheet truncated hyperboloid located in plate center. The depressions pass into hollow cylindrical post and octagonal lower base plate having upwardly projected central part. The central part has round through orifice defined by constant-section surface with thread smoothly passing into variable-section surface expanding downwards. Support has threaded rod with nut screwed on the rod. One rod end cooperates with internal thread of projected base plate part. Opposite rod end is inserted into cylindrical post. Central part of lower plate projecting upwards is surrounded with annular depression provided with ribs extending from the depression. Upper plate has crossing slot pairs. The first edges of slots distant from axes of slot symmetry are inclined downwards. Slot edges opposite to the first ones and defining receiving panel outline are inclined upwards. ^ EFFECT: increased strength. ^ 11 cl, 8 dwg
