PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coffee beverage making device capable of safely extracting coffee liquid by evading the risk of burns caused by erroneously taking out an extractor while extracting the coffee liquid. SOLUTION: The coffee beverage making device 1 for spraying hot water to a powder chamber (extractor) 42 housing coffee raw material powder and extracting the coffee liquid is provided with: a stopper mechanism (extractor movement regulation means) 85 for inhibiting the movement of the powder chamber 42; and a controller 20 for controlling the spray of the hot water to the powder chamber 42 and the operation of the stopper mechanism 85. The controller 20 inhibits the movement of the powder chamber 42 by the stopper mechanism 85 during coffee liquid extraction time after the spray of the hot water to the powder chamber 42 is started until prescribed time elapses after the spray is ended.
