<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder container allowing a user to highly efficiently inhale powder in a short period of time, having a simple constitution, and easily manufactured at a low cost in the powder container A for an inhalation type powder administration device constituted so that the user inhales the powder in a storage chamber from a mouthpiece. <P>SOLUTION: This powder container is provided with a base plate 3 recessedly formed with a storage plate part 2 storing the powder, a lid plate 10 closing an opening part of the storage plate part 2 and peelably fixed to the base plate 3, and an engagement part 4 engaging the storage plate part 2 stored in a storage chamber. The tip of the lid plate 10 is extendingly provided with a pull-strip part 10a projecting outward the powder container in a folded back state.
