<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizer protective film with high productivity, the film excellent in mechanical strength which solves problems of being fragile and easily broken, and having high heat resistance and optical transparency and excellent moisture resistance, to provide a polarizing plate having less defect in the appearance using the above polarizer protective film and a polarizer made of polyvinyl alcohol resin, and to provide a high definition image display apparatus with high productivity using the above polarizing plate. <P>SOLUTION: The polarizer protective film essentially comprises a (meth)acrylic resin having ≥100°C Tg, and shows ≤1.0 in-plane retardation Δnd, ≤3.0 retardation Rth in the thickness direction, and ≤65 g/m<SP>2</SP>24 hours of moisture permeability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
