<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase volumetric efficiency by compactly building a pulse generating device in an intake system of a V-type six cylinder engine and suitably generating high frequency wave to each cylinder. <P>SOLUTION: A collecting part 40 to which an upstream end of each intake pipe 41A-41F of each cylinder opens is provided between both banks 1, 2, and a rotary valve 33 rotating at rotation speed of a half of rotation speed of a crankshaft and opening and closing an upstream end opening of each intake pipe is built in the collecting part. The upstream end opening position of each intake pipe connected to two cylinders having adjacent ignition orders between both banks is arranged with shifting phase from an intake pipe upstream end opening of a cylinder of one bank to an intake pipe upstream end opening of a cylinder of another bank by 60°in circumference direction of a collecting part inner wall. The rotary valve 33 rotates from the intake pipe upstream end opening of one side to the intake pipe upstream end opening of another side, and an opening of the rotary valve 33 make communication to the intake pipe upstream end opening in a middle of intake stroke of each cylinder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
