A rotary opening and shutting-type plunger pump is provided to lengthen the life span of the pump by having the enough corresponding force from the excessive pressure applied to the valve body. A rotary opening and shutting-type plunger pump comprises a valve body(10) in which a rotary valve body(20) is installed at the rear end of a cylinder(3) in which the piston of a hydraulic pressure cylinder(1) is mounted; and a cylinder rod(6) of an opening and shutting cylinder(5) downwardly mounted to one side of the hydraulic pressure by an additional flange(4) at the end of the rotary valve body exposed to one side of the valve body, wherein the end is separated by a bracket(7). An inlet flange(11) is connected with an additional storage tank at one end of the valve body and a discharge flange(12) is communicated with the inside of the valve body at the outer peripheral surface of the valve body. The valve body is formed with a bent inlet path(21) communicated with the inlet flange and the cylinder, and a bent discharge path(22) communicated with the cylinder and the discharge flange. The discharge path is closed when the inlet path is opened and is opened when the inlet path is closed by the operation of the opening and shutting cylinder.
