PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of easily acquiring specified steering feeling, easy to be assembled, capable of reducing the manufacturing cost of a part and eliminating the rattling of a connecting part after the connection of a shaft on the side of a steering wheel and a shaft on the side of a steering gear. SOLUTION: Position of openings of slots 601A to 601C of hollow cylindrical springs 60A to 60C are at specified phase positions toward the shaft center of an inner shaft 12B. Consequently, spring constants of the hollow cylindrical springs 60A to 60C come to be a target specified spring constant whichever the inner shaft 12B rotates in the clockwise direction or in the counterclockwise direction, and the steering feeling of the steering wheel 11 is maintained constant whichever the inner shaft 12B rotates in the clockwise direction or in the counterclockwise direction as the outer periphery of a columnar pin 61 makes contact with a groove 42 of the inner shaft 12B and a groove 52 of an input shaft 22 and transmits rotating torque in the input torque of a specified target value.
