PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of detecting fluorescence from the reaction section of a reaction vessel in high sensitivity. SOLUTION: When a fluorescence detective section is under actuation, the optical unit of the section is scanned relatively to the reaction vessel 41 with an LED 92 undergoing flickering. When the optical axis comes under the probe set section 18 of the reaction vessel 41, a detection signal from a photodetector 104 is put to sample hold. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
