PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion toy for which a figure performs a responding motion in response to the separating operation by an operation for separating an individual figure in the motion toy. SOLUTION: When a permanent magnet 15 which is provided in an accessory figure 14 passes in a vicinity of a magnet switch 21 which is provided on the surface of a main figure 12, power is fed to a timer 36, a control section 35, an output section 34, and a sound emitting section 22. Then, the control section 35 reads voice data which is stored in a storage section 33, and transmits the data to the output section 34 to make the output section 34 perform a specified output. In this case, the timer 36 suppresses a wasteful power consumption of the power source 32 by controlling the power feeding time in such a manner that the normal state of a circuit 31 may become off.
