To make possible the efficient and effective exploitations of voice data such as much music and many speeches made usable, and image data such as static images or moving images. In case the voice data stored in a material database (21) is to be reproduced, a control unit (10) acquires meta-data attached to the voice data to be reproduced, from the material database, retrieves image data having a high relation to the voice data, on the basis of the meta-data with reference to the meta-data of the image data, controls, by its function, a voice reproducing system such as a voice decoder (32) and an image reproducing system such as an image decoder (31), and reproduces the voice data to be reproduced and the image data retrieved, in a related manner.
