NEEDLE FOR APPLYING CORRECTION FLUID, AND METHOD FOR CORRECTING COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle for applying correction fluid and a method for correcting a color filter by which the number of times of applications at a correction part are reduced to 1/2 to 1/10 times of the conventional manner to shorten a processing time and the film thickness of a finely correcting portion is made thicker.

SOLUTION: The needle for applying the correction fluid for the color filter has a circular correction fluid reservoir at its tip, and its depth is 5-50μm from the tip of the needle. The needle has characteristics that an amount of adhesion of the correction fluid can be increased by the correction fluid reservoir. Furthermore, it is characterized that the application frequency is reduced in the case of defect correction in accordance with increase of an amount of adhesion of the correction fluid by a single application.
