PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element driving device capable of correcting Cin characteristics with good accuracy even with variations in characteristics of a plurality of light emitting elements driven simultaneously and in circuit characteristics. SOLUTION: The light emitting element driving device comprises a voltage supply 230 for constant voltage-driving the plurality of the light emitting elements LD; a current source 30 for constant current-driving the light emitting elements LD; and a correction circuit 250 for calculating correction voltage that corrects output voltage upon the constant voltage-driving taking as a reference voltage terminal voltage of each light emitting element LD upon implementation of the constant current-driving by the current source 30. The correction circuit 250 sets the correction voltage on the basis of a voltage-light volume characteristic of each light emitting element, such that a correction light volume of the light emitting element LD is kept unchanged. As described above, the correction voltage of the voltage source is set such that the correction light volume is kept unchanged on the basis of the voltage-light volume characteristic of each light emitting element LD, so that it is possible to correct the Cin characteristics with good accuracy even when there arise variations in the characteristics of the light emitting element and in the circuit characteristics.
