A low temperature roll (1) has a roll body (2) with peripherally spaced bores (4), a pair of roll pins (3) with connection lines (7) for low temperature fluid, and a pair of annular distribution heads (5) each mounted about each roll pin. Each distribution head forms distribution lines (6), in form of corrosion resistant pipes, connecting the connection lines to the bores.
