摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body fat measuring apparatus capable of more highly precisely measuring the visceral fat than that of the conventional one by a biological impedance measurement. <P>SOLUTION: A constant current is applied between hand current electrodes DIHR and DIHL and foot current electrodes DILR and DILL, and an abdominal part impedance is found from a detection voltage obtained from an annular voltage electrode DE1 disposed in the abdomen, and between voltage electrodes DE2 and DE3 disposed in the lumber part. Current electrodes DI3 and DI4 and voltage electrodes DE4 and DE5 are disposed at a short interval, respectively, in the navel position, a constant current is applied between the current electrodes DE4 and DE5, and the impedance adjacent to the abdominal subcutis is found from the detection voltage obtained between the voltage electrodes DE4 and DE5.
