<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virus containing a DNA encoding a G-factor subunit derived from Limulus amebocytes and useful for the stable low-cost mass production of an assay reagent for (1→3)-β-D-glucan (BG) having a definite quality, a cell holding the virus and a method for producing G-factor by using the cell. <P>SOLUTION: The invention provides a virus containing a DNA encoding theα-subunit of the G-factor derived from the Limulus amebocytes, and a virus containing a DNA encoding theα-subunit of the G-factor derived from the Limulus amebocytes wherein the DNA is selected from (A) a DNA encoding a protein containing an amino acid sequence expressed by a specific sequence and (B) a DNA containing an amino acid sequence obtained by the deletion, substitution, insertion or transposition of one or more amino acids in the amino acid sequence described in (A) and encoding a protein having the activity of theα-subunit of the G factor derived from the Limulus amebocytes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
