PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal digital assistant which has a built-in radio communication module having an application to be executed by using proximity radio communication, and enables a user to confirm that the application to be executed corresponds to a service system. SOLUTION: A portable telephone 10 being the personal digital assistant has the built-in radio module 111 for performing data communication with a service system by using the proximity radio communication. The application part 114 of the radio module 110 stores the two applications. When the application to be indicated by the service system is executed, an application controller 113 displays on a liquid crystal display 130 image information which is stored in an image storage part 112 and corresponds to the application to be indicated.
