<PICT:0863712/III/1> An apparatus for coating an object with a liquid plastic comprises a spray gun G, having a pair of spaced apart nozzles NRA, NRC in front of the body 14 of the gun, a spray aperture being formed in each of the nozzles with the axes of the apertures inclined towards one another, means for simultaneously forcing a solution of a cold curing polyester resin and a catalyst for curing the resin through one of the nozzles, and a solution of the said resin and an accelerator for the curing process through the other nozzle. The resin solutions are supplied from separate containers RA, RC, pressurised by a compressor C, which also supplies the air for spraying. The catalyst may be methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, or a mixture of a benzoyl peroxide base and tricresyl phosphate, and the accelerator may be dimethylaniline. |
