<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording paper having no coated layer containing a pigment and an adhesive, hardly causing trouble in paper feed by paper powder by reducing the paper powder when carrying out the formation of an image with high image quality at a high speed, and hardly causing defects of the image quality caused at the transcription process by the paper powder in the image formation by an electrophotography method; and to provide an image-forming device in the electrophotography method and the inkjet method using the recording paper. <P>SOLUTION: The recording paper in a cut sheet shape containing a wood pulp has ≥15 times folding endurance in the cross direction, ≥0.15 N×m internal connection strength, ≤20 mass% ash content, and ≤5 mass% proportion of formulated Mg element in the ash measured by IPC emission spectrometry.
