The method involves applying gaskets on sub-sockets for the production of concrete pipes and concrete shaft rings, during which gaskets are supplied. The gaskets radially expand when a sub-socket is placed over them and tightens by means of a flexible back on the sub-socket. The gaskets (1) are stored perpendicularly in a magazine (30) and removed vertically and horizontally from it by a gripping device (8). The gaskets are supplied to the sub-sockets. An independent claim is included for a device.
