<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a driving unit for a hybrid vehicle on a vehicle with limited mounting space such as a motor bicycle, without largely bulging out in a vehicular width direction, even if there is provided a power distribution device. <P>SOLUTION: The driving unit for the hybrid vehicle comprises an engine 210, a generator 270 generating power by rotations of the engine 210, a motor 230 driven by the power of the generator 270 and rotating a rear wheel 107, and the power distribution device 250 dividing the power generated by the engine 210 to the generator 270 and the rear wheel 107. A crank shaft 211 of the engine 210 is disposed in a vehicular width direction, and the generator 270, the motor 230, and the power distribution device 250 are disposed on another shaft parallel with the crank shaft of the engine 210. From one end portion side of another shaft, the power of the engine 210 and the driving force of the motor are outputted through the power distribution device 250 and a rotor 231 of the motor 230. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
