A cigar lighter plug for a car is provided to reduce the number of component parts so that the manufacturing cost can also be reduced, and decrease the weight thereof by vacating the insides of a cylindrical body and a knob. A cigar lighter plug for a car comprises a heat generator(18), a heat generator case(16), a cylindrical body, a knob(11), a cover body(14a,14b), and a spring(19). The heat generator is wound in the cylinder form to light up a cigar using battery power. The heat generator case being formed of a conductive material receives the heat generator therein by screw-connection. Outer circumference of the heat generator case is tapered to be captured by an inside of a bimetal. The cylindrical body formed of a conductive material is connected to a closed end of the heat generator case by one end. The other end of the cylindrical body is opened. A plurality of fixing holes are formed on a side surface of the cylindrical body. The knob is connected with the cylindrical body, and has a fixing projection(11b), a plurality of fixing members(11a), and a stopper(11c) of a flange form. The cover body has a hollow form for surrounding the cylindrical body. A spring fixing projection(14c) is formed on the middle part of the cover body. The spring is fit between the spring fixing projection and the stopper of the knob. |
