<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for accurately, rapidly and efficiently identifying the variety and line of strawberry. <P>SOLUTION: The primer set for strawberry variety identification comprises one or more sets of pairing primers selected from pairing primers PAPD-STS-1 to 13F/R. The method for strawberry variety identification comprises subjecting a DNA extracted from a sample to PCR using the primer sets and detecting an identification marker from amplified products.
