PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity and processability while maintaining the mechanical properties of a silica-compounded diene rubber. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a tire comprises 100 pts.wt. diene rubber, 0-150 pts.wt. silica, 0.5-20 pts.wt. polysiloxane having a repeating unit of formula (I) (wherein, R<SP>1</SP>is independently a methyl group, an ethyl group or a phenyl group; R<SP>2</SP>is independently hydrogen or an organic group; R<SP>3</SP>is independently an alkyl group or an acyl group; m is 0 or an integer of≥1; and n is 0 or an integer of≥1), and also having 200-100,000 number average molecular weight, and 0.01-5 pts.wt. organic peroxide.
