<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of achieving at least one of the purposes as facilitating taking-out of an ejected recording medium and facilitating jam treatment. <P>SOLUTION: Four image forming units 20 are arranged so that the upper situated one 20 is positioned more apart from the front face 5a, and a transport belt 15 is arranged in front of the four units 200 in contacting with photo-sensitive drums 16 and supported on the inner surface of a front face cover 35.
