PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing the cost, when a product having a permanent magnet when recycled, and improving the recycling factor, and further, demagnetizing the product that uses simple equipment. SOLUTION: The permanent magnet is demagnetized, by applying a high-frequency voltage across at least two terminals of the winding of a motor having the permanent magnet.
