<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mercaptosilane capable of exhibiting a high amplification ratio, a low hysteresis loss, and high abrasion resistance, even in a short mixing time economically allowable, with assured proessability, and simultaneously capable of realizing more decreased release of an alcohol when compared with a trimethoxy- or triethoxy-substituted melcaptosilane. <P>SOLUTION: This mercaptosilane is expressed by general formula I [R<SP>1</SP>is an alkyl polyether -O-(R<SP>5</SP>O)<SB>m</SB>-R<SP>6</SP>]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
