PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound hearing apparatus which is easily to handle and in which a sound hearing body can be surely mounted on the body even while a user wears a jacket with no pocket, and to provide a sound hearing apparatus that meets the aesthetic sense of the user. SOLUTION: The sound hearing apparatus is provided with: a sound hearing body 11 including a sound collecting microphone function, function for converting sound into a current signal and amplifier function; a strap 21 including a loop portion 22 that is hung on the neck P2 of a user P while hanging the sound hearing body 11 therefrom; an earphone 31 attachable to the ear P1 of the user P; and a cord 41 for electrically connecting the earphone 31 and the sound hearing body 11; and also an ornamental member 51 which covers the sound hearing body 11 from the outside partially or entirely and includes an ornamental portion (55).
