PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing valve structure in which the valve is set in the normally open type and flowing of the working oil is secured when the valve is opened, capable of accomplishing a closed condition in which a flow passage is closed completely when a solenoid is energized without causing the solenoid to be large sized. SOLUTION: The opening/closing valve structure of normally open type is configured so that the valve is installed in the flow passage to allow the working oil from one side F to pass through to the other side T, for admitting the working oil to flow through the flow passage when the solenoid 4 is demagnetized and hindering flowing of the working oil through the passage when the solenoid 4 is excited, and the arrangement further includes a bulkhead 1 arranged to shut the passage and having a communication passage 1a to admit the working oil from one side to flow to the other side and a valve element 2 confronting the valve seat surface 1c on the other side T of the bulkhead 1 and also confronting the communication passage 1a which is open to the valve seat surface 1c, wherein the valve element 2 is advanced by the thrust force given by the solenoid 4 acting on the back face to approach the valve seat surface 1c confronting and is further advanced by the oil pressure given from one side acting on the back face in the generated adjoining condition to be seated on the valve seat surface 1c confronting for closing the communication passage 1a.
