PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the leak preventing structure of a flange part capable of ensuring a sufficient seal function even with respect to a place, where at least two mating surfaces of a large-sized container or the like cross each other, by an extremely simple structure. SOLUTION: In the leak preventing structure of the flange part constituted by providing flange parts (2a and 3a) on both sides of one mating surfaces (S) of plate-shaped blocks (2 and 3) and interposing thin plate lip seal members (7 and 8) forming a semicircular cross section between opposed flange surfaces (2a' and 3a') to perform the seal welding of them, a polyhedral body blocks (28 and 41) having surfaces (28a-28c and 41a-41d) corresponding to the number of the flange surfaces are provided to a place where two or above mating surfaces (S1-S4) cross mutually and three or above flange surfaces (21a', 22a', 13a', and 31a'-34a') cross mutually and places (29 and 39), where lip seal members (24-26, and 35-38) mounted along the respective flange surfaces cross mutually, are welded to the polyhedral body blocks by seal welding.
