PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional total heat exchanger wherein heat exchange between supplied air and discharged air is difficult as it is constituted to allow the supplied air and the discharged air to flow orthogonally to each other, which causes the worst heat exchange efficiency, and further as a saw-tooth corrugated spacing plate is adhered to a partitioning plate at a bent portion, which causes the increase of an area of an adhesion portion and the decrease of an effective heat exchanging area. SOLUTION: This total heat exchanger comprises a unit member E composed of a partitioning film 7 formed into a long hexagonal shape having a right-angle square portion 15 and triangular portions 14, 14 formed at both ends thereof, and having heat transferring property and moisture permeability, and one or a plurality of reinforcement members 9 fixed to the partitioning film 7 and mounted in parallel with each other between frame members 8, 8. Further it comprises a unit member G formed by fixing the pair of frame members 8, 8 and the reinforcement member 9 to the partitioning film 7 at a position axisymmetric to the unit member E. The unit member E and the unit member G are alternately stacked to configurate a total heat exchanger main body 1 having an air supply flow channel 2 and an air discharge flow channel 3. Opening portions 13 of the air supply flow channel 2 and the air discharge flow channel 3 are formed on different sides of an outer periphery of the triangular portions of the stacked partitioning films 7.
