METHOD FOR EVALUATING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating environmental impacts, by which the kinds and extents of the environmental impacts and the extents of environmental endocrine disrupters in an unknown environment can be evaluated without specifying chemical substances existing therein one by one. SOLUTION: This method for evaluating the environmental impacts is characterized by culturing cyprinodonts in various chemical substance-containing environments, measuring the expression states of a part or all of specific 11569 cyprinodont genes to form accumulated data, culturing a cyprinodont in a toxicity-unknown environment, measuring the expression states of a part or all of the genes and then comparing the measurement results with the accumulated data.
