PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trap device for preventing flame injection caused by accidental explosion of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: The device comprises a primary flame absorbing net part provided on a periphery of an opening part of a crankcase and having a net structure of many wire members intersecting and overlapping each other, a decompression diffusion space part expanded outside the primary flame absorbing net part for reducing pressure of the flame, a secondary flame absorbing net part provided outside the decompression diffusion space part and having the same net structure as that of the primary flame absorbing net part for secondarily absorbing and dispersing the flame, and a flame derivation duct part provided outside the secondary flame absorbing net part, having a structure of many straps overlapping each other with their plate surface radially provided with a recessed and projecting part, tertiarily absorbing remaining flame having passed through the secondary flame absorbing net part while letting the flame pass through a derivation hole provided between the straps, and exhausting it in a non-spark status by non-combustion caused by lack of oxygen.
