<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for supporting work for extracting a difference between manuals. <P>SOLUTION: This manual comparison device is provided with a processing objective manual input part for inputting the processing objective manual constituted including a section selected from a base text a section unit by a section unit including a composition with an ID, a comparison reference manual input part for inputting the comparison reference manual constituted including a section selected separately from the base text, and a comparison processing means for retrieving the composition having the corresponding ID from the comparison reference manual, as to each of the compositions of the processing objective manual, for determining whether contents in the both are consistent or not when retrieved, for recording information indicating the effect that no difference exists, including the composition of the processing objective manual, when consistent, and for recording information indicating the effect that a difference exists, including the composition of the processing objective manual, when not consistent or not retrieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
