PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope where a part to be repaired, caused with its usage, is comparatively simply and easily repaired, and to provide a method for repairing the endoscope. SOLUTION: The endoscope includes: an adhesive 20 to be applied on the part S to be repaired, caused with its usage on the outer surface of a flexible tube 15 to be inserted into a celom; and a heat shrinkable tube 25 which is opposed to the part to be repaired with the adhesive applied thereon, fitted to the part with a gap, and tightly attached onto the outer surface of the flexible tube by heat shrinkage across the adhesive.
