<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intraocular lens which suppresses secondary cataract developed after the intraocular lens is inserted and further eliminates the adsorption and deposition, etc., of protein or the like to the front surface of the lens. <P>SOLUTION: The intraocular lens is provided with an optical part with a front surface and a back surface, adhesiveness with protein is different between the front surface and the back surface, and in the case of defining the adhesiveness with fibronectin of the front surface as PA<SB>F</SB>and defining the adhesiveness with fibronectin of the back surface as PA<SB>B</SB>in a fibronectin attachment test, they satisfy the relation of an expression (x): PA<SB>F</SB><PA<SB>B</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
