PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal capable of improving visibility of information displayed on a display device. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal comprises: a current position computing section 2 which computes the current position; a map information storing section 3 which stores map information; a route searching section 4 which searches a route from the current position computed by the current position computing section 2 up to a destination designated by a user; a passage route storing section 5 for storing passed route information representing a passed route through which the user passed in the past; a display section 6 which displays the route searched by the route searching section 4 along with a map represented by the map information; and a display control section 7 for controlling displaying on the display section 6 in response to whether or not the route on the current position is on a route through which the user passed in the past.
