PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding apparatus for bending a glass plate by empty weight and particularly for the deep bending of a glass plate side. SOLUTION: A molding frame for bending the glass plate by empty weight has a central fixing part at a center part, a rotating and going up and down part which is connected to one side or both sides of the central fixing part to be freely rotative and an upper fixing part where the rotating and going up and down part comes into contact by rotation and which is supported by fixing to the central fixing part. The contact between the rotating and going up and down part and the upper fixing part starts from a close part to the central fixing part.
