FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves subcortically transecting internal malleolus with bone fragment being formed and deltoid ligament remainders attachment place being retained. The bone fragment is rotated in distal direction and the cicatricially changed deltoid ligament is exposed with the adjacent articulation capsule zone. Bone plate is removed from tibia above the transection line and fibula reduction and osteosynthesis is carried out.
