PICTURE CORRECTION DEVICE, METHOD, AND PICTURE CORRECTION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate variations in brightness of a specific picture portion before and after color correction.

SOLUTION: Average color (RGB value) of a face picture portion contained is computed by image data given in the picture to be expressed. It is corrected so that the set-up standard target color may have luminosity values specified in the average color of the face picture portion. Color correction is carried out so that it may have the target color in which the average color of the face picture portion was corrected.
