<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight inorganic panel low in material cost and having high strength by reducing the amount to be added of a phenol resin precursor and to enhance the strength of the lightweight inorganic panel without obstructing the moisture absorbing and discharging properties thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A slurry based on a calcium silicate hydrate and a woody reinforcing material is prepared and a sheet impregnated with a thermosetting resin prepolymer is brought into contact with the surface and/or back of a plate cured molded object obtained by papermaking process dehydration molding to be pressed thereto under heating not only to bond the sheet but also to cure the thermosetting resin prepolymer infiltrated in the sheet. Accordingly, the amount to be added of a thermosetting resin can be sharply reduced as compared with an internal adding system and a mechanical behavior equal to that due to the internal adding system can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
