PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate an address of a register storing a plurality of pieces of operation data, allowing output of data being operated and notification of overflow, improving processing efficiency of a product-sum computing unit, and easily constructing recursive filter. SOLUTION: This product-sum computing unit is provided with a coefficient register 100, a data register 110, a multiplier 130, an adder 140, and a data bus 120 performing data transfer to/from an external device. The product-sum computing device is provided with a data collective automatic storage means 180, which requires an input of an address showing the data register 110 only once from the outside initially without designating all the addresses of the data register 110 for automatically generating a data storage address and storing a series of data. An interim result data in the middle of the product-sum computing are automatically stored in the data register 110 for performing recursive product-sum operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
