PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interphone system in which an electrical component can be exchanged before a failure of equipment by discovering in advance the equipment failure caused by a lifetime of the component of the interphone system. SOLUTION: The interphone system comprises a plurality of living room master units 40a, 40b, 40c, ..., having living room numbers, a management room master unit 20 that calls a living room master unit to talk therewith, a main entrance set 30 that calls a living room master unit to talk therewith, and a controller 10 for controlling voice signals and control signals with the management room master unit, the living room master units and the main entrance set. The controller includes: a rewritable ROM 15 previously registering, as reference values, lifetime data 15c such as lifetimes of display parts 44, 24, 34 of the management room master unit, each of the living room master units and the main entrance set or the number of times of key operations in operating parts 43, 23, 33; a memory for recording an operating log 14a for recording operating histories of the management room master unit, the living room master units and the main entrance set and a lifetime log 14c adding the operating log; and a control circuit for comparing the added value of the lifetime log with the reference value.
