PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which achieves more efficient drawing processing. SOLUTION: In an image processor 1000 which performs sequential drawing processing at a screen coordinate system for every unit figure which constitutes a surface of three dimensional object of a drawing target, a rasterization section 10 splits and outputs a drawing area corresponding to a screen into a plurality of unit areas in a state projecting a 1st unit figure on a screen coordinate and sequentially outputs a plurality of unit areas which constitute each unit figure for every unit figure through the same processing also for 2nd and subsequent unit figures. An area split section 20 splits unit areas outputted sequentially from the rasterization section 10 into a plurality of sub-areas. An area discarding section 30 discards a part of sub-areas out of a plurality of sub-areas split at the area split section 20 with prescribed rules. An area writing section 40 re-integrates the sub-areas remained as a result of discarding processing by the area discarding section 30, and writes sub-areas into a memory for each integrated area obtained by the re-integration.
