<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated knowledge information system capable of copying with a situation request in which information over many areas increases explosively and which simultaneously requires an urgent solution about a disaster, an accident or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In this knowledge based system comprising a host computer and an inputting/outputting part and/or a display part connected to the host computer, the inputting/outputting part displays (outputs as a character, an image, a voice or printed information) an answer to an inquiry on the basis of information on a presentation layer, uses knowledge obtained by analyzing the following knowledge such as data, a diagram, a drawing, a table, a relation, a procedure, a rule, a calculation module and knowledge included in various technical standards or the like, represents the knowledge with a general-purpose information model being a unified common expression, semiautomatically converts the knowledge into formal knowledge, stores an integrated knowledge base, reuses and analyzes the integrated knowledge base, and provides knowledge information necessary to the entire life cycle such as the design of a plant, etc., handling and operation, preventive maintenance, disaster countermeasures or the like, providing the environment of a rational and efficient knowledge use. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
